Cheryl Cole may postpone her divorce indefinitely

Cheryl Cole announced she was separating from husband Ashley yesterday - but sources say she has no immediate plans to begin divorce proceedings. Despite all the recent revelations, Cheryl doesn't want to hurt Ashley by pulling the plug on their marriage too quickly and she still has very strong feelings for him. "Cheryl decided to use the word 'separating' in her statement out of respect for Ashley," explains the source. "She may wish to postpone a divorce indefinitely." Cheryl's friends say there's no chance she will take Ashley back. He has simply pushed her too far and she has been warned that taking him back could have a detrimental effect on her career.
