Continuing along with her long day on the set of “Gossip Girl,” Leighton Meester was spotted in New York City on Monday (March 1).

Shooting scenes with co-star Penn Badgley, the brunette beauty looked cute in a green coat paired with a yellow bag and yellow heels.

In related news, Meester, who is set to release her first music album in the next few months, will reportedly take a break from her singing to focus on acting.

Word has it, Leighton will star in a new movie called “The Oranges” which centers around a man’s romantic relationship with the daughter of a family friend, which turns all their lives upside down.

Leonardo DiCaprio: Lovin’ the Lakers

Showing his support for his favorite basketball team, Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted at the Los Angeles Lakers game on Sunday (February 28).

The “Catch Me If You Can” stud sat courtside next to Jeffrey Katzenberg, the CEO of DreamWorks Animation, and cheered the Lakers onto victory over the Denver Nuggets 95-89.

In other news, DiCaprio’s latest film “Shutter Island” has landed itself in the number one spot at the box office for the second weekend in a row.

The film which is about a U.S. marshal investigating a patient’s escape from a mysterious asylum on a Massachusetts island, pulled in a whopping $22.2 million, bringing its overall total to $75.1 million!

Jessica Alba: Family Park Fun

Making the most of a beautiful afternoon, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren took their daughter Honor Marie out for some active quality time yesterday (February 28).

The “Good Luck Chuck” babe and her handsome hubby and darling daughter enjoyed a romp at the Coldwater Canyon Park in Beverly Hills as the shutterbugs snapped up pictures.

Prior to the park play date, Jessica was spotted at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles where the Lakers took on the Denver nuggets.

Joined by a pal, Ms. Alba scored primo courtside seats. She tweeted, “Sitting front row so if we lose we still have to smile.”

Denise Richards: Testifying Against Charlie?

As if he needed any more bad news, Charlie Sheen may have just lost his hopes of avoiding jail time for attacking his wife Brooke Mueller, as his ex-wife Denise Richards is on the Prosecutor’s witness list for his upcoming trial.

According to a report, the “Wild Things” actress may be called to testify against Sheen, given that she also complained of domestic abuse while they were married.

Back in 2005, Denise obtained a restraining order against Charlie, claiming he “pushed me, shoving me with his two hands between my shoulders.”

If Ms. Richards takes the stand, things will go from bad to worse for Sheen. The “Two and a Half Men” actor is currently undergoing rehab for alcohol and cocaine abuse.

Amy Winehouse Picks Up Pricey New Pad

Looking to blow off some steam, Amy Winehouse was spotted hitting up the Good Mixer Pub in Camden, London last night (February 28).

The “You Know I’m No Good” songstress was joined by some friends as she made her exit to find a few paparazzi waiting for her.

And it sounds like Miss Winehouse is looking at putting down roots in her old Camden stomping grounds as she’s plunked down $4 million on a luxury property.

The new pad has five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a sauna, gym, and room for a recording studio. A source confirmed, “Amy has been house-hunting for months and finally found somewhere that meets all her needs. It is large and homely and has everything.”

Avril Lavigne Helps Close Out 2010 Olympics

Bringing an end to the 2010 Olympic Games, Avril Lavigne was spotted performing at the Closing Ceremony last night (February 28).

The “I’m With You” songstress looked lovely as she took the Vancouver, British Columbia stage in a red dress with black strappy heels.

Last week, Avril was across the pond in London, England to help promote the UK premiere of “Alice in Wonderland.”

She’s never one for much modesty, and earlier today (March 1) Lady GaGa was spotted showing off her sexy form in London, England.

The “Just Dance” songstress donned a see-through black lace getup and a massive black hat as she left her swanky hotel.

In a recent interview, GaGa revealed that she’s all about having a boyfriend, but would never let a relationship hinder her work.
